Lucky for our department our Chief is a big advocate for continuing education. They even go as far as to have us do ride alongs with other agencies to see how they operate.

I have been in public safty for 15 years I have enjoyed being able to help people. My grandfather was a fire chif in Mich. and I enjoyed going to hisstation when we went up there to visit. I was also in the U.S. Marine Corps. I recently moved back to East Liverpool Oh. to help take care of my parents so my little brother can go to collage.

I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
I love being in the fire dept. because it gives you a chance to help people. it lets you know the people in your community. it is a challange and you learn something new all the time or you get a chance to relearn something that you learned a long time ago as we get older.
