Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
My father was a policeman for 30 years, my uncle a Fire Chief and policeman, my cousin was a fireman, it was in our family's blood. So one day I said I would like to be a fireman and got asked then why don't you? I couldn't say why not, so that started the road. Since then became a medic and hazmat tech. Guess I just like the rush.

Side Jobs or Other Organizations:
3rd job is as a Paramedic for 911 Joint Ambulance District. Yeah I did say 3rd job. LOL

Low pay in our area causing people to leave for higher paying jobs as soon as they are trained
I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
The feeling of Brotherhood, the chance to help the community, and of course playing with FIRE! GRIN

Well I have an announcement for everyone. I have gotten a couple of promotions at work. I am now the C Shift Commander, and also promoted to Captain. Looking forward to the new responsibilities of these positions.

Stir Crazy!

Well due to an accident at work on Feburary 2, I am out of work for a while. I was coming down some steps at night and they had been covered in ice. I was a trooper (for whatever reason) got up and brushed it off. About an hour later, I am throwing up twice, but still I am going to continue. Well my leg gave out about 4 hour later and I fell again… Continue
