I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
I have always gotten a rush out of making calls, even after the 10th ambulance call of the day. Yes, I was grumpy at that point but it was still a rush. I like helping people very much. Most of all, serving with the people I work with has been the greatest. Yeah some drove me nuts, but I have enjoyed working with them. You won't meet a better bunch of people in any other profession.

I can't believe the girls are that old. How come they get older and we don't. If only that were true as I sit here typing with my granny readers on. Great that you have such little time left before retirement. Is it ok if I buzz you now and again, I miss talking to you and you have to admit we did walk through some mud together. Be good to you. Hey Kelly,
Forgot to mention this in my last comment. You have a ff/medic on the dept. now who I have known since before he was born, honestly. I was in labor with my Ryan while I was at his Mom's baby shower, Ryan Ruberg. We (the Auberger Family) have been friends with his family for about 45 years now. He comes from a great family Kelly. His Dad Russ is an outstanding ff/medic with Green Township, he and my brother ran together and so were his grandparents Ruth and Roger. I promised his Mom I would mention to you that I knew him, I'm glad he's with Florence I know he's with a great bunch of people.

Hi Kelly:

It is different, but I am still fondly remembered! They say my smiles and cranberry cheesecakes go on forever!
After the Thirtymile Fire, as Christmas came near in December, my Mom and my friends still celebrated the Karen's Christmas Tea that I gave every year with my best girlfriend's. They all came, and served my favotite Christmas goodies, just like I bake. I understand that ABC news came to the party. Wish I could have seen that!--Karen Lee
