Try different magazines that are fire service oriented, such as, Fire House, Fire Engineering etc. These are usually found in the fire house lounge, or radio room. Another good source of information are, fire equipment catalogs. Normally each tool will have a good explanation, and it's strong points. If you try typing in your search engine, "fire equipment" there should be an endless supply of useful info. Good luck! Hope this helps.

Katie,

Thought I would send you a hiring add to get you a thought of Fire and Rescue. You can have the best of both worlds and become a Fire Marshall (since you are interested in Law enforcement) during your career. Hope your day is going good.
