It was in my blood. I guess you could say I was kind of born into it. My Grandfather was a charter member of the fire department I currently belong to.

About Me:
I suffered a major back injury while working for a small ambulance company in Norwich Ct. It could have been avoidable had they sent us a lift assist. I have had two surgeries and was told I could never be a firefighter again. Well what do they know lol. I am back and all though I have restrictions and am not at 100% yet I am back doing what I love.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
burnout, lack of quality training,back injuries
I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
It comes natural to me. I can't picture myself doing anything else
