- I joined the fire service because my dad thought it would be a great way for me to keep myself out of trouble! And now I love it wouldn't trade it for the world...would love for less politics to be involved though!

- i am a firefighter, EMT-B, i have taken courses for fire police, scene support, evoc, hazmat incident command, essentials ( which i think is ff1 now) arson awareness, and others that i can't remember!

- Alot has happened this past 6 months thats why I haven't been on here...my father passed away March 21,09 he was my hero and my best friend he was in the fire service for 11 yrs. 3 weeks later my husband told me he wanted a divorce, which was almost as hard as losing my father. Then 3 weeks later i had to have shoulder surgery! But I am still a member of our fire dept and now more involved then I used to be...
