My names Jeff. I'm 19 and live in the small town of Toluca, IL which only has about 1400 people. I'm the 4th generation of my family to be on the volunteer fire dept in town. I'm currently going to school for Firefighting/EMT-B. I hope to continue my education and get to atleast a FF3/Paramedic status and get on a full-time department.

Remembering Brian Munz

The Daily Leader, Pontiac, IL Fairbury Volunteer Fire Fighter Brian J. Munz was killed fighting a two story residence fire in Forrest, IL., on Tuesday evening, July 22. Munz, age 24, was a 4 year member of the Fairbury Fire Department. He had made entry into the home to begin overhaul when the second story collapsed taking him to the basement where he passed . Investigation is on-going. Our sympathy and prayers to the family, Fairbury and area Fire Departments.
