Venting the Roof and The Kitchen Table

I've been away for a week relaunching Venting the Roof. It ties in nicely with what's going on here at Firefighter Nation. The delivery of information is the greatest leap forward in firefighter safety over the last decade.

Thoughts Compiled Whilst Ladders Are Raised

Throwing ladders is a skill badly in need of a refresher across North America. The reduction in staffing led to the dismissal of ladder work as all hands work now to get a single hose line in operation. This isn't basic firefighting. Instead it's one half of what maeks up the suppression of fires.
