Profile Information

Hometown:
Sebring, Ohio
I Live: (City, State)
Clayton, NC
Years in Fire/EMS:
6
Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
To help people, and who doesn't love fire?
Relationship Status:
In a Relationship
Primary Fire/EMS Department:
Harnett County EMS
Department Type:
EMS/Rescue Squad/Hospital EMS - Paid
Rank/Role There:
Firefighter / Paramedic (or Other ALS), EMT - Paramedic (or Other ALS)
Years With This Department/Agency
1 Week
Dept. Web Site:
http://www.harnett.org
My Training:
Paramedic with ACLS, PALS, PHTLS and CPR.
About Me:
I'm a 26 year old male who just moved to North Carolina to work for a county EMS agency. I've been a Paramedic for about 4 years and LOVE my job. I have been in the fire service in Ohio for about 5 years. I'm going to work on taking my FFI and FFII in North Carolina here real soon, so if anyone has any tips for me let me know. Need anything let me know, and don't hesitate to ask any questions.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Safety issues from lack of training and people thinking they know more then they do. People thinking that fire can't hurt them. Trying too hard to be a "hero". and the ignorance of the general public.
I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
you get to be with someone in the worst moments of their lives and (hopefully) save them.
