At 8:21am on April 20, 2009, James Shoemaker said…: Thanks for adding me bro.I'm a second generation firefighter,my late fater also faught fires.He served for 25 yrs,me I served for four and a half yrs.And yes I still miss the action.But ther only thing that I don't miss is the calls that came in the middle of the night.I belongedto the Newark Volenteer Fire Dept,I served thier from 8/89 to 3/94.I had top leave due to my moving out of the area.I now l;ive in Rochester NY with my wife.
