Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
My freinds got in an automobile accident. I saw the responders with their lights and sirens heading to the scene, and I was inspired. I want to become a Police Officer, but this is a way I can help people in the mean time, and I plan to continue firefighting after I am a cop.

I am new to the fire service. I have completed my EF course, and several hours of in house training including smoke house and control burns. I plan on taking FF1 in the spring.
About Me:
Step father was a cheif for two years, my mom was an Paid and volunteer EMT when I was little. I joined in august of 2007 and I love it. Been to quite a few calls, I try to make them all.

Lack of volunteers and physical fitness.
I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
Helping people when they can't help themselves. Driving with a bluelight.

Why I am a firefighter

This is a note I posted on facebook after I was asked why I chose to be a firefighter.

I've thought a lot lately about how much I love firefighting and what a great decision it was to join the service. Sure, there is the great adreneline rush; The high I get from it is something I cannot describe.
