About Me:
I got my start in the fire service in 1993 with a volunteer department in South Dakota. In 1998 I moved to Wyoming and joined a combination department, where I moved up thru the ranks to Station Captain. In 2005 I was hired as a career firefighter for the same department. Along with being a career firefighter during the day I still maintain a position as a station captain of a outlying station in the department and a coordinator for our cadet program.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Firefighter Safety and working to stay up to speed with all the changes in vehicle desing and building construction.
I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
The feeling of satisfaction that comes from knowing you made a difference in someones life.
