I am not sure what the top issues are across this nation. It does appear that we arn't doing very well at reducing line of duty deaths.

What temperature range and exposure length does it take for a ff to receive 2nd and 3rd degree burns under his / her PPE?

Greg. our depart. has 4inch hose and it has been in service for greater than five years it is snap tight hose.

I know this site is dedicated to ff safety. My I ask what 5" hose are people using? I don't want to mention a brand name at this time. At my dept. we are having to fail alot of our 5" hose. Is there a brand/model that people are getting more than 5 years of service life?
