Your are correct.. Differnt regs and rules.. how ever if you order a Sam Houston with Bourks eye shields your helment wont have a NFPA sticker.. only if you order with a face shield.. you make it NFPA complaint by adding your goggles

Well you can go online and there are few books on just truck ops i.e. where to position dealing with wires so on. if you want to go a bit extreme and someone has great knowledge of ropes and knots do some repells off ladder..does not have to be HI...

Here's something to try, Make a competition out of it. Divide your personnel up into teams, each team is given a vehicle and all teams are given the same task to complete, door removal,top removal, steering column pull, seat and pedal removal, etc...

Greg check out the Vehicle Extrication group on this website- there's a load of really well versed and trained extrication practitioners there- they'll be able to give you some guidance...

We recently bought a rescue dummie. We place the dummie as a passenger then smash up the vehicle pretty good and do the rescue and extrication in real time then go back and pick apart the evolution.

How are you Greg. I am working in Kentucky now. In Monticello. I am currently working as an EMT-B until I pass the NREMT-P written. I already passed the practicals. Not sure how far you are from monticello KY. Looking forward to hear from you. I know you are busy.
