A firefighter's family needs help!

It has come to my attention that a local firefighter's family is in need of some assistance. A Davidson County firefighter's brother-in-law's house burned to the ground yesterday morning. The family lost everything. I emailed the firefighter this morning and found out that clothes have been covered, but there is still a need for gift cards and/or money. The family is two adults, a 19 year old son, a 17 year old son with spinabifida, and a 14 year old daughter. All the money that our website take… Continue

I have to get it out...

As I put my mourning band on my badge this afternoon, I sat and thought
of the events ahead of me. I have two funerals to attend in as many
days. I silently prayed that God would give me the strength to be His
strong and faithful ambassador in these trying situations. They are
both equally hard even though they are very different. The first will
be for a barely 18 year old Firefighter who I have never met. His life
was cut short before it had really started. He was set to start his
senior year i… Continue

Prayers Needed

As some of you know, I have been preparing to expand my ministry. I am
asking for prayer for wisdom in knowing just which path to take. I have
been pursuing the option of starting a church and also looking into
taking a pastoral job in an established church. Please pray for myself
and my family as we face these choices.

Why Christians Suffer

Why Christians Suffer I Peter 4:12-19

I am doing this lesson in response to the many people who have contacted me through my website. I knew that suffering would be a hot topic with my fire service ministry due to the nature of the business, but the fact of the matter is being exposed to the
suffering of others as well as our personal suffering takes its toll on us
all. I hope that this lesson will help
some of y

Pastor Brian, I am a new member to your Christian Firefighter Association and Love reading the Daily Inspiriation... I was wondering if you had the PDF for the Maltese Cross on that page as I would Lobe to have it as a patch and wear it. Do you have that Maltese Cross? Thank you and keep up the Spirit!

I leave you with my favorite scripture: Numbers 6:24-26.

In Faith,

Michael

I saw your page and thought you to be truly a blessing for your community. Ministry is hard at times. I have a 22 yr old son who is a youth minister. He is in his 2nd year at Toccoa Falls college, working toward a BA in this. I have seen his heart ache and his joys. Its really cool though to see you in the fire services as a minister. I'm sure you touch alot of people. God bless and keep on keepin on. Chief Ayers

Hi Pastor Brian,

Just saying Hi and thanks for the ad. I have been traveling around a bit the last couple of weeks and just now noticed it. God brought me into the fire fighter world a bit as a listening ear to hurting members knowing nothing of job and now I'm looking for the next step. Hope all is well where you are. God Bless.
