for those under the age of 18 that are either juniors as we call 'em or explorers. And for anybody that has been a junior in recent years that could give advice to new juniors/explorers coming up. =)

Jennifer, Thanks so much! If you could get me brand names that would be awesome, I am not so much doing this for myself as I am trying to compile a list of the best products to kind of help guide other people in the right direction. I have the 5.11 station pants and i agree their fit beats out any other pants I have had. If you could let me know those brand names that would be great. Thanks Again!!

Hey!

My name is Amanda and I am trying to figure out what products are best for female firefighters. I have worked as a firefighter for just three years so I am just getting started. Currently I am a student at Eastern Kentucky University in in the Fire & Safety Engineering Technology Program. Although I have only been a firefighter for three years I have had my fair share of small gloves that were still too big and pants that went up to my belly button! I was wondering if you could take the time out of your busy schedule to share some of your favorite/best fitting/most functional products for female firefighters. Weather it’s an awesome fitting pair of pants, A polo shirt that has sleeves that do not go down to your elbows, a pair of great gloves, or boots that have an awesome fit. It would be greatly appreciated if you could share your opinions with me. Thank you very much. Please feel free to e-mail me back at amanda_cherry4@eku.edu or leave me a comment.

Stay Safe,
Amanda Cherry

wow... yea it has been fairly slow here as well we have had a few small calls, justg stupid stuff mostly like lifting asst. or trees down, stuff like that but we had a cpr assist the other day-old guy collapsed on the roof we didn't have a stokes or ne thing so we had to package him on the roof and lower him with just bein strapped on the backbord...it all worked out we got enough manpower that it dd't matter really
--then monday morning we had a BIG hay fire that was somethin! lol
