- Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
- Been around the fire service for all 24 years of my life. I joined as a sophomore in high school and its been a wild ride ever since. No longer searching for that elusive career firefighter spot. Recently got on as a Firefighter/EMT-B at the Naval Base nearby....FINALLY. Regardless of if I'm a volunteer or career, its the greatest job on earth and I wouldnt have it any other way.

First Blog
Okay, so this may not be my very first blog...just my first one on here. Those that have been to my MySpace site know that I do blog on occasion. Just not too often.
Right now, I'm a volunteer here in southern Indiana. I've been in 7 years and I'm currently trying to go career but as some of you already know, its pretty well easier said than done. All the testing and yadda yadda yadda. Anyway, regardless of where I end up, I'd like to get in on a Truck Company (Open'er Up Truck!!!).
