Been fairly quiet last few shifts, I even got to sleep thru the night last night, that was sweet!,Gives me a chance to finish off my FO1 classes at least... but this cold snap is bound to bring more business our way-it always does....as always- stay safe!

Hey Bro...
Temps here have been "cold" ..it was MINUS 2 degrees yesterday am. Today its in the low 30's, up to 40+ Wednesday, then back down to the teens...makes for some real interesting firefighting OPS in the winter..

Glad to hear things are getting back to normal your way.You're right in the manner in which you presently operate. In all my travels throughout the US, the use of clamps especially on LDH is not utlized, coordinated communications and established and practiced SOP help develop the necessary coordination and timeling required to execute the hose lay, hydrant hook up and flow to the engine, as the engineer/Chauf. prepares to accept the flow and pump. (can the clamp idea...)
