thanks lord knows I am up for the challenge and I could use to lose some of the excess so that when i enter fire school in the fall my "new " and improved self can get up and running. lol. Thanks for the idea.....keep us informed.....have a great day

- To be honest, because a guy in high school told me about being a Jr. FF and I was very interested and he told me I was too girly and couldnt handle the job. So to prove him wrong I joined...lol.
I do however love to help others in any way I can. I am currently in College after ten years again to pursue my nursing degree in hopes of becoming a flight nurse. I have tried most angles of Emergency Care , FF, EMS, DIspatching, Medical billing, running an office. SO now I am off on another adventure.

My name is Amanda and I am trying to figure out what products are best for female firefighters. I have worked as a firefighter for only three years so I am just getting started. Currently I am a student at Eastern Kentucky University in in the Fire & Safety Engineering Technology Program. Although I have only been a firefighter for two years I have had my fair share of small gloves that were still too big and pants that went up to my belly button! I was wondering if you could take the time out of your busy schedule to share some of your favorite/best fitting/most functional products for female firefighters. Weather it’s an awesome fitting pair of pants, A polo shirt that has sleeves that do not go down to your elbows, a pair of great gloves, or boots that have an awesome fit.
