5th Alarm and we missed out!

Paint and soft furnishing shop, plus others lost in a major fire last night in Dargaville (North Islands, New Zealand)

This fire went to a 5th Alarm with over 100 firefighters attending. We were put on station cover but didn't get to roll, just sit and listen. No injuries to firefighters or the public, just property damage.

A firebuff friend happened to be visiting relatives in Dargaville when the fire started and has captured some wonderful photContinue

Very quiet at the moment here mate, something like 2 calls for us in the last 2 months which is a big slowdown from the year we've been having. Your new peril looks very nice, maybe this summer will be the year I finally make it up to have a look! How will you get on only being able to respond with 3 in it though?
