About Me:
I am a career firefighter with the city of Glenwood Springs the biggest department in the roaring fork valley here in colorado and a part time reserve with Rifle fire. I love my jobs and and it can only get better we are growing at record setting pace and look forward to the change. I am sorrounded by lots of great firefighters that I proudly call my brothers. Thats the way it should be everywhere.

were all payed theres 13 of us, we work two 10hr day shifts then two 14hr night shifts then off for 4 days, we have the engine with 3 guys and officer. the ladder with 4 guys and officer. chief and his driver and medic 22 with two guys. On the engine we rotate one guy would have the tip, another is driving and working the pump the packman to pull line and the officer just point to fire. how about you guys..

You know it. They go through about 100 lbs. of food every 3 weeks. They eat more than the horses. Gotta love the big dogs though. Talk to ya soon...
