I joined because I read a article in the local paper saying the local departments (9 total) were looking for more vounteers, and besides I wanted to be one when I grew up. I am so glad I went to my department and joined. I have a new found respect...

I joined the department because of the tradition in my family I grew up around the flashing lights and blaring sirens so i guess it was just natural for me to carry the torch to another generation and also to help my community in every way possible

- Im 6'5" about 275lb yes im a big boy lol . I have been working as a cook for about 9 year's hopfully soon i will be joining a police or sheriff dept. that's what i really want to do . Im doing the fire department thing to be able to help my community its not a career that i really wanted to follow not saying that its not fun because i sure as hell am injoying it .
