- I got into emergency services because its what my family does. Im a forth generation Fire Fighter. I became a EMT-B 5 years ago. I have been a line officer for a total of roughly 8 of my 11 years ranging from station LT to engine LT to squad LT and now rescue LT for the last 2 years. I LOVE being apart of the rescue company, its more challenging. My company has 2 class a pumpers, 1 brush truck, a trench rescue squad and 1 HEAVY RESCUE (my truck).
