Hillcrest Firefighters responded this morning for a report of a structure
fire on Chestnut Ridge Rd. Orchard Park 10 went on location reporting a
working barn fire. OP 10 further reported a structure collapse. Mutual aid
companies were Windom, Orchard Park, North Boston, Armor, & Newton
Abbott (FAST).
North Boston Firefighters responded this afternoon for a report of a structure fire on Heinrich Rd. North Boston 9 reported heavy smoke enroute. Hamburg 9-2 went on location reporting a working barn fire. North Boston 9 assumed command and reported a barn fully involved barn with Ladder pipes in operation and extension to a shed with chemicals stored inside. Mutual Aid companies were Patchin (Engine), East Eden (Tanker), Boston (Engine), Hamburg (Engine, Heavy Rescue, Ladder), Newton Abbott (FAST), & Hillcrest (fill in @ North Boston). The fire was under control in about 41 minutes.
North Boston Firefighters responded this afternoon for a report of a structure fire on Back Creek Rd. North Boston 9-2 went on location reporting an unattached garage fully involved with an exposure garage involved. Mutual Aid companies were Patchin (Engine), Hamburg (Ladder, Heavy Rescue, Engine), East Eden (Engine), Newton Abbott (FAST), & Armor (fill in @ North Boston). The fire was under control in about 43 minutes.

Cambria Department caught on fire

CAMBRIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A fire near the town of Wilson caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage, to one of the town's fire departments.
The Cambria Department caught on fire Monday afternoon.
Four of the station's trucks were damaged, one was completely lost and repairs could cost well over half a million dollars.
"I know our surrounding companies have offered equipment and firefighting gear so we can get back on our feet," said Shawn Mcintyre, Assistant Fire Chief
Two of the company's trucks were in substation and we undamaged.
Area residents will have their fire and emergency services covered by the Pekin and Wilson Fire Departments for the immediate future.
