When I visited him recently he was so excited to have received so many patches. Those of you that have helped with this will never know how much this has encouraged this young man and his family. I have added a link to my Twitter feed on my page. Not sure exactly how I will use this yet. I have been playing around with it for a few days. I don't have a phone with internet access so I am limited to updating when I am at a computer. I plan on adding notifications when my volunteer department's website is updated so you can watch for that.

I have a request for Fire/EMS patches. The retired director of Chilton County E-9-1-1 has a grandson who has been diagnosed with:
autonomic dysreflexia (autonomic multiple dysfunction-where multiple organs are affected) & RSD this is now known as Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)

I sit here at Station 6 tonight spending my last few days with my crew. I have recently been promoted to Apparatus Operator (Engineer). I am not totally sure of my new assignment but think it will be Station 19 on the Engine. This is the busiest Engine Company in the City. Some would be pissed, I am excited. Why, you ask? This is my first attempt in entering this world of blogging. I don't claim to be an eloquent writer. Having said that I do enjoy networking with other firefighters to see "what works" in different parts of the world. So, that is why I joined this site.
