My volunteer station has a pumper tanker. We have one hydrant in our zone so carrying 1500 gallons on our 1st out truck made sence to us. My paid station runs a rescue pumper. We use this truck for all calls.

Yes we love them the 4,000 gallons in a county with no water system is a huge help. I forget what the pricing was due to us buying the chassis from someone else at kinda of a discount, as you can see they are the freightliner chassis and we did not get the automatic transmission in them we got the 10 speed. The huge down fall of that is not to many people know how to drive a truck like that. But they built the tanks and we had a company down the road paint them from white to the black and red. The company that painted them donated the paint and labor. On the back of the tank we got one 2 1/2 inch discharge and one, 2 1/2 inch intake we are about to have dump shoots installed on them. For a county that does not have a good water system I highly recommend them.
