- My cousin who passed away in 2000 was in it when I was younger and I enjoyed listening to the scanner and riding along with him. I joined Baugo Volunteer Fire Department when I was 18 and I've been there for 10 years now. Early in 2008 I was hired at the Elkhart Fire Department. I now also work part time at Baugo.
