Training Ideas.

My fire department had an awesome training yesterday and I was wondering what are some training ideas that maybe any of your departments have tried? Myself and my fire department would love to hear your ideas and what some of y'all have done.

Listen to the Veteran Firefighters.

I am a 20 year old volunteer firefighter. I have been in the fire service for five years. I have noticed from experience and other ways that a lot of the younger firefighters are the little think they know it all types. I have noticed this about a couple of them. The best thing you can do is listen to the older veteran firefighters on your departments. If you are unsure of something or don't know something don't let your pride get in the way. People get hurt when they are at a lack of knowledge… Continue
