chele said… - It was amazing to be there. At the time I didn't want to take pictures, it felt like a violation of their privacy somehow. In retrospect, I wish I had captured more of the humor of the people of Greensburg. The Grand Opening sign was just one example, I wish I had more. The resiliency of the people was incredible.

- No idea why Ashland would sound familiar to you? Nothin' going on here! The tornado pictures were from Greensburg. We were there about an hour after the tornado hit.

Backdraft is an awesome movie even though it is a little far fetched in most parts. Ladder 49 is also a great movie that is more realistic. Both are #1 in my opinion, I'd rent, or better yet buy, both and get it over with.
Andrew, don't feel too badly, I have driven trucks and my own POV - as an authorized emergency vehicle - with lights and sirens, and have been ignored by motorists.
It seems that as long as it isn't THEIR emergency, they can't be bothered or inco...
