On our dept, if Motorola is in town, our fire chief will make a page saying if we have any problems with our pagers to come to the station. We have two pagers. the Minitor IV and the Minitor II. But that is the way we do it in Texas.
Anyone who volunteers with an emergency service is welcome to join. Discussions about a wide variety including issues of being a volunteer vs full-time.
