- About Me:
- I have been in my current position with the Red Cross since July of 2007 and it is a truly rewarding position. I wear many hats within my role constantly switching gears at anytime. I manage the local office, recruit volunteers, I'm a Health and Safety Instructor, manage the Health and Safety Program along with our Disaster Services Program, and I spearhead the Fundraising and Marketing for the branch.
I work closely with our local EMS and Fire Department when responding to local disasters. The majority of the calls I get are from Single Family Fires. I enjoy building relationships within the community through my position with the Red Cross. I recently volunteered my time for the Mine Rescue Competition and met some really great people and gained a new respect for emergency responders!!

- For the past 5 years I have been a Victim Advocate for the local Police Department. I work with Victims of Crime, mainly Domestic Violence victims. Again, this is a very rewarding passion of mine. As a liason between the Police Department and the public my job is to provide crisis intervention to victims in need. I LOVE my volunteer job!!! I am complete with CASA training and will soon be an official CASA volunteer.
In addition I'm currently a full time student at our local college working on my degree in Criminal Justice. And, last yet not the least....I'm a mom to 4 beautiful boys!
