Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
I volunteer for a lot of things in the community, including the EMA. The group I volunteered for with the EMA was given a chance to go through the smoke trailer in full turn out gear to get a better understanding of what firefighters faced. One time through and I was hooked! Shortly after that the State Fire Academy had a training just for women, "Can You Take the Heat?" where I got to do my first live burn and after that I knew it was what I wanted to do! Everyone our department is great, serious about what they do and I love it!

Your pics are hot. So was the burn building everything you thought it would be. I know when I went through it 10 years ago, it was nothing like i thought it would be.

Hey Candy, thanks for the add. Glad to have you in my circle. Wow!!! Is that an all-female fire company? I've never seen that before. Stay safe.
