I admire anyone's service to this country, they don't always recieve the well needed and deserved credit and recognition. However, that is not an excuse to act inapropriately and in a rage of anger, on the job or off duty. So now you not only have...

About Me:
NO regrets, just lesions learned, in both life and the kitchen! My love of the ocean is where my soul reconnects with reality (surfing) and seafood (one of my favorites); I catch my second wind to keep on going! I have had many life experiences some incredible and some very difficult. I try to take everything in stride by keeping my positive attitude and outlook at life in general. I have a handful of people that I consider true friends and numerous people I consider acquaintances. I served as a Naval Reservist for 4 years which was an incredible learning experience. Presently I work full time in (2) Emergency Depts. as a Patient Care Technician (PCT/EMT) both in Santa Barbara County. I also work for an ambulance company as a non-emergency driver part-time. I served for nearly 10 years in the fire service until injury and distance contributed to my career change. I am now pursuing a nursing degree.

During my off time/seasons from the FD, I worked in the Hospitality field providing guest service as a resident Innkeeper, for an upscale 4 diamond Bed & Breakfast for over 10 years. I gave 8 years to Amtrak, working at over 17 stations between San Diego and Vancouver, British Columbia. My love of cooking was a staple at the firehouse. We sure loved to cook! We did a lot of cooking for fund raising dinners and breakfasts. I now cook for a hobby & fun and am putting together a Firehouse Cookbook as well as other fun adventures. I also enjoy doing volunteer work which is another huge part of my life. The (3) main; Surfrider Foundation, Santa Barbara County Vintners' Assn., and the SB Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Hi CJ,

Thank you for the nice comments. I followed your work on Twitter during the fire. It seems you sleep less than I do.

Obviously you aren't alone in your thoughts. There are very, very few who seem to defending the actions, based on the 200 or more comments I have received. A number have said they are writing similar letters.

I will leave it to others to provide the opinions on this one. I can say this, it is one of the most interesting and disturbing videos I have seen in a while.

Thanks for tracking me down.

Comments made by the 24th. District Attorney Mr. Cook....

I am disgusted at the statement made by District 24 District Attorney Max Cook and I quote from a reliable source, “I had a brief conversation with District 24 District Attorney Max Cook on Tuesday. He explained that the initial and primary focus of the ongoing investigation is to determine if any charges will be brought against the EMS crew. While it is not the current priority, Cook would not rule out the possibility his office could look to see if there is any merit to claims the troopers int… Continue
