- I grew up living next door to the fire house, and my dad was and still is a volunteer so it was kinda in my blood.

- We learn all of the basics, like where everything is on the trucks so we can go grab them, how to hit hydrants, hose types and lengths, and now since the weather is getting nicer we are doing more technical stuff like search and rescue.

- I'm 16 years old, I love being a junior volunteer, i hope to become a career fire fighter one day in either my town or my summer home in Ocean City, NJ.
