Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
I joined the fire department because I have seen my local fire department get the job done and pictured myself in their shoes. The adrenaline rush and that feeling you get when you know you are helping somebody in need when they need it the most is a great feeling. EMS did the favor for me and now I am returning that favor by doing it for somebody else.

student
Side Jobs or Other Organizations:
Greater Amsterdam Vol. Ambulance Corp.-GAVAC
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Some of the top issues facing first responders are that they never know what they are going to actaully handle until they get on-scene. Some of the situations that you see or may have to handle in any fire or rescue department
I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
EMS/ Fire Rescue did the favor for me when I needed it the most and now I am returning that favor for somebody else when they are in that situation.
