"Does the stripe have to go all the way around the truck or just be seen from 360 degress?" Seriously?

As has already been said, even topics that might seem babyish, are still relevant topics. I would add that in addition to drugs and alcohol that was mentioned, you could also include smoking while in bed/careless disposal of smoking materials. Sta...

I'd think twice...or more than twice...about using a tool designed for military armored vehicles on a civilian armored car. For starters, up-armored Humvees are designed much differently than armored cars, and the people inside them want to be res...

Hey Sara, your best bet is to look for any firematic flea markets or swap meets in the area. There's always plenty of helmet shields there, although some of them can be priced very high! Good luck and stay safe!

I could understand if there was gross negligence on the part of the incident commanders, as we've seen in cases involving training deaths, but just as part of an everyday fire/rescue/EMS scenario...please!

Brian,

I have been within ten miles of your station at least six times this summer and each time I have been loaded heavy so did not dare to visit.

I will keep trying as I NEED to see this place and the equipment big time so I can give pictures and information to the new Chief in Orleans Nebraska, my old squad.

I of course look forward to having a face to face with you and the crew as well. The only telephone number I have is for the station so I will call there and have them try to notify you.

Hope you had a good summer, stay safe.

Running coast to coast and border to border I have seen more of this these past few years. That is why I posted the blog "Acceptance is the key"

Not very many people commented so I know I touched alot of folks who identified with the problem.

You know the saying: " guilt is like your own body oder, you never smell it but everyone else does"

Stay safe.

Brian,

Good gravy man, can you believe the Oklahoma Trooper vs. EMT mess!

The JEMS web site is stirring so much I feel they may be preparing a lynch mob. Those EMT's are not impressed with Trooper 606!

Okay, great.

I read that the units from another dept had leaking couplings and other issues. I felt it was an isolated issue as the vendor for their units may have used a different supplier that used faulty stuff.

I still intend to visit your dept this summer, hope your invite is still good. I am in Peru right now on my way to Butler PA.
