My stations first engine due is older then most its a 1997 Frieghtliner FL-70 5 man cab 1250 gpm top mount, P pump 2000 gallon tank, deluge/ monitor gun.this engine has just normal firefighting equipment

well, im 24 and single...i love to be around my friends, and most are firefighters, so my life basically revolves around FIRE/EMS... I love the volunteer department, but i would like to make a full time job out of it...my goals for the next year or so are to work on my firefighter 2 and NREMT Paramedic specialist and apply for a paid dept. in my area...i am currently training to be a 911 dispatcher at Savanna 911 center.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I grew up around firefighters, my uncle was a firefighter, and my aunt was an EMT for 16 years, I absolutely love it, couldnt think of anything better to do with my life!!

Hey thanks. I hope everything is staying calm down there in Illinois. Here, there is not much of anything going on except for snow and more snow. Kinda makes you wonder what fire season is going to be like this year! Just thought I would say hi and see how you are. Can't stay long, I have homework to get done and handed in tomorrow morning, so I guess I better get going. Thank god it's almost over for these two classes! Anyways, stay safe and good luck in your career.
