- I am married to a fulltime fireman. I was the first full-time, paid female firefighter in the Tri-Cities. However, the department did have full-time female Paramedics and POC female firefighters. The medics were from a private ambulance agency. The POC were volunteers that were paid per call.

I'm retired from Haz Mat duty. I worked for a Chemical company. And I was trained by the company.
And at one time I was on a paid on call list.
