Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
I was raised in the fire service, with my dad being a fire chief. Firefighting is what I know and what I love. It gives me a sense of pride and honor knowning I am following in my fathers footsteps to perform the duties and serve the people as he did. One day I hope to have a child that follows some of my footsteps.

I am 26 years old and I work full time in a medical office as a Radiologic Technologist, but my true love is firefighting. I am a Capt for Truck Co. 12 in Mercer Co. Ky. I am married to a beautiful 2nd grade school teacher named Ronda. She is very supportive in all I do.

I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
It runs in my blood. It gives me a feel of pride and honor. Being proud of who I am and the community I serve makes it all worth while.
