I have worked as a firefighter for only three years so I am just getting started. Currently I am a student at Eastern algerinne University in in the Fire & Safety Engineering Technology Program. Although I have only been a firefighter for three years I have had my fair share of small gloves that were still too big and pants that went up to my belly button! I was wondering if you could take the time out of your busy schedule to share some of your favorite/best fitting/most functional products for female firefighters. Weather it’s an awesome fitting pair of pants, A polo shirt that has sleeves that do not go down to your elbows, a pair of great gloves, or boots that have an awesome fit. At 8:04am on April 3, 2009, Kayli Borell said…: your welcome. n thnks 4 the luck in FF class........im gnna need it! with 19 other guys n only 1 other female. plus one of my teammates is DANGEROUS n probably gonna end up hurtin someone REALLY bad! we were doin ventilation the other day n he started the chainsaw aiming it at peoples faces n then it just shot out pieces EVERYWHERE! he sprayed me with the hose, n then hoses are supposed to go on ONE side of the stairwell n he had them in the middle....thank goodness it wasnt a real fire at the time we would be there forever! i did end up in the hsptl tht day.....low bld sugar n i got overheated being trapped in a training box for 12 minutes with little air.
