Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:: I became a cop because I have never wanted to be anything else. My best friend is a firefighter. As a Deputy Sheriff I work alongside Firefighters/First Responders all the time. We're all part of the same "running toward the danger while everyone else is running away" family.
