Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
I am a professional fire department photographer. I started taking photos in 1999 with the Wheeling Fire Dept. (WV IAFF Local 12) because I wanted to promote the work of the men of the Wheeling FD. In 2004 I became their official photographer. I am an Honorary Member of IAFF Local 12. I am currently a freelance fire photographer in the City of Pittsburgh profiling the work of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire. I run WheelingFire.com and PittsburghFire.net in order to promote the work of professional firefighters on the Internet. I one day hope to become a professional firefighter.
