Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
At first I just wanted to find a way to support the firefighters in our department-- helping out by fundraising and keeping them fed & hydrated on-scene. Now I want to be involved more directly, so I'm joining as EMS-only. I am putting all my nursing training to good use for the dept. by adding 1st Responder training and then EMT-B.
