Top Issues Facing Responders:
Getting support from the community. So many people don't understand what it takes to run an agency and that we volunteer our time and resources. Safety is another top issue, I still am so surprised how many people will pull out in front of our trucks when we are running code three.

it gives me a chance to really help and make a difference...

I did it!

I passed my EMT-B test! I got my national certification on Friday, March 28th. I am so glad it's done and now I can finally start applying what I learned.

I'm in

I went before the body last night and I got voted in as an official member of East Wood VFD. I am now off probation and able to respond to all calls. I'm so happy!! I start my EMT class tonight and I'm a little nervous about everything I have to learn, but I'm ready.
