I grew up in the fire service. My father is a retired Master Firefighter. I started as a junior member at Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Department at age 14 and later joined Damascus Vounteer Fire Department at age 18. I was employeed at Frederick County Emergency Communications for 4 years prior to transfering to the Division of Fire and Rescue Services of Frederick County.
