The bungy cord worked.. But I like my nose the shape it is.. Needs more strength for those calls where we beach it on a slope. These folks are soon to get more business, as we plan to replace a ten piece HURST System, with their brand of extricati...

Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
Just something that I wanted to do. My grandfather was a Forestry Warden and Fireman; my parents were involved. Rural folks, help each other, it's a rite of passage to step up, and be there when help is needed. It's been that way for a long, long time. I haven't enjoyed every minute of it, but I would never give it up.

About Me:
Started out in fire; slowly took a liking to EMS more.. Maybe b/c the majority of the calls are EMS. I still turn out, but not with as much enthusiasm as in the past.

Funding, recruitment, and standardization of education and resources.
I Love Being in Fire/EMS Because:
I hate this question. I have no answer. It's important to me, to do what I do. I think I do it well, I'm big on quality, competency and high standards of care; and I have no problem telling people they're doing it wrong, but first I'll help them do it right.
