Why I Joined the Fire/EMS:
I like doing what i do. When i was younger the fire service was very traditional. I learned to be who i am from some of the best, Career and Volunteer. I will never forget where i came from and who helped me get to where i am. There are no distinctions between career and volunteers, there are just FIREMEN. You either have it or you dont. Now i spend most of my time bugging the young guys to help them understand how to survive what we do. if i help one person to make it to retirement, then it was all worth it. I AM OLD SCHOOL. Crawl down the hall and get it!!!But we have to be smarter and safer these days. I CAN LEARN. CAN YOU???

Mike was a single guy living at home with his father and working in the
family business. When he found he was going to inherit a fortune when his
sickly father died, he decided he needed a wife with which to share his
fortune.

One evening at an investment meeting he spotted the most beautiful woman
he had ever seen. Her natural beauty took his breath away. 'I may look like
just an ordinary man,' he said to her, 'but in just a few years, my father will
die, and I'll inherit a lot of money'

Impressed, the woman obtained his business card and three days later, she
became his stepmother.

Women are so much better at estate planning than men.
