Comment by A.J. on May 1, 2009 at 1:34am - Had our first brush fire last Thursday the 23rd of April this guy thought it would be a good idea to burn a large brush pile in the middle of the woods lucky we stopped it before it spread to far lol the things people do amaze me. you guys stay safe out there.

Comment by Thomas A. Barrett on January 31, 2009 at 8:02pm - Hey I passes all my Wildland classes from th I-100,S-130/190 to the S-390, it's was all fun. I have fought Wildland Fires from Coast to Coast, OR, WA, CA, NV, AZ, NM, TX, MT, ID, WY, and Florida in 1998 airlifted our engines in C5A's.

I just got back from CA, I was on the SHU Lighting complex in Shasta Lake area, I saw pretty bad fire behavior and very dry fuel in that area. I was there from july till the beginning of august. I operate a Type 3 engine from new mexico and coming from an area where we had rain from july to present it was quite a change. I hope we helped out the people from CA and i would not hesitate to hed up there to help them out .
