Comment by Adam on January 14, 2009 at 5:53pm - Henderson County Firefighters and Emergency Services is hosting a Fill th Boot fundraiser in honor of Garrett Sheehan, son of Blue Ridge Firefighter Will Sheehan. The event will be on Jan 24th from 9-5 at the 64/ Highland Square Intersection Wal-Mart. Garrett needs a life saving bone marrow transplant and this will help cover the families cost. This fundraiser also goes hand in hand with the Hot Dog Benefit and Bone Marrow Testing Drive at Blue Ridge FD on the 31st. We need people to come out and help with the fill the boot and ask you to donate a few hrs of your time for Garrett and help make this fundraiser a success!
