i feel that they are a great tool, but use them as a wedge not as steps. what are your thoughts??

They have their place, but they're just one of many that we need to use and have at our disposal.

Many foget the multiple ways/configurations they can be use at an incident.

I feel the same. They are a vital piece in our stabilization process. We use them a lot as temporary while struts are put in place and or box cribbing is built. They are usually the first pieces of cribbing grabbed off the truck.

i agree with asst 29. we start with them while box cribing is being set up this help to stablize till other form are in place .
